Annual Corvette Expo Takes Place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with Thrilling Corvette Cruise on the Tail of the Dragon

From Friday, March 24, 2023 to Sunday, March 26, 2023 March 24, 2023 March 26, 2023 Econo Lodge Pigeon Forge

The annual Corvette Expo is a highly anticipated event for car enthusiasts and fans of the iconic Corvette. Taking place each Spring at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the expo boasts a variety of attractions and activities for attendees to enjoy.

One of the main features of the expo is the Swap Meet, where vendors offer car parts, accessories, and memorabilia for sale. The Park ‘n’ Show event is another exciting attraction where Corvette owners can showcase their prized vehicles. Meanwhile, the Sales Corral offers a chance to purchase or sell a Corvette, and the Diamond Awards Show recognizes the most exceptional Corvettes on display.

The South East Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) will also be in attendance to conduct Flight Judging for Corvettes manufactured between 1953 and 1999. This judging process involves a detailed examination of each vehicle to ensure it meets strict criteria for authenticity and condition.

The most thrilling part of the Corvette Expo is undoubtedly the Corvette Cruise, which sees hundreds of Corvettes take to the road. This year, the Cruise will take participants from the LeConte Center to the Tail of the Dragon via the recently completed ‘missing link’ on the Smoky Mountain Foothills Parkway. From there, the Cruise follows the original Parkway to US Highway 129, also known as the Tail of the Dragon, and continues to the end of the Dragon at Deals Gap, North Carolina. This exciting drive covers a distance of 56.3 miles and takes approximately 1 hour and 34 minutes.

Along with the Corvette Expo, two additional car shows will also be held at the LeConte Center. The Horsepower and Hotrods Show Car will feature a wide variety of classic and modern cars, while Chevys in the Smokies will showcase a range of Chevy vehicles.

The expo invites visitors to experience a bit of East Tennessee history while taking in the sights and sounds of this incredible car show. Whether you’re a Corvette enthusiast or simply looking for a fun day out, the Corvette Expo is an event you won’t soon forget.

The expo will be held over two days, with hours from 9am to 6pm on Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday. The Corvette Cruise will take place on March 24th, starting at 4:30pm from the Park ‘n’ Show lot at the LeConte Center and ending at Deals Gap, North Carolina, the end of the Dragon.
